Q1: What is a rash guard?

A rash guard, also known as a rashie, is a specially designed shirt worn for water activities. It provides UV protection and helps prevent skin irritation caused by friction or exposure to the sun and ocean.

Q2: Why should my child wear a rash guard?

Rash guards offer sun protection, reduce the risk of skin irritation (like rashes and chafing), and add an extra layer of warmth for extended water play. They are a comfortable and stylish choice for kids enjoying various water activities.

Q3: Are the rashies suitable for swimming pools?

Yes, our rash guards are designed for both pool and ocean use. They are made from quick-drying materials that won't weigh your child down in the water.

Q4: How do I choose the right size for my child?

We recommend viewing our size chart, which can be found on each product page. Measure your child's chest and height, and then match the measurements to the corresponding size on the chart for the best fit.

Q5: How should I care for the rash guard?

To prolong the life of the rash guard, rinse it with fresh water after each use and let it air dry. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight for extended periods and follow the care instructions provided on the garment.

Q6: Are the rash guards sun-protective?

Yes, our rash guards are made with 50+ UPF rating fabric to provide excellent sun protection. However, it's essential to use additional sun protection measures, such as hats, sunscreen and drink plenty of water for extra precaution.

Q7: Can my child wear the rash guard all day?

While our rash guards are designed for extended wear it's recommended to give your child breaks to allow the skin to breathe. Additionally, apply sunscreen to exposed areas for added protection.

Q8: Can I return or exchange a rash guard if it doesn't fit?

Yes, we offer a hassle-free return and exchange policy. Please refer to our return policy for detailed information on the process. Exceptions to apply to personalised rashies. 

Q9: Do I have to personalise my rashie?

You do not need to personalise your rashie with your name or nickname. We have left the option to your imagination. Our vibrant colorways look cool on every shore. A fee of $7 AUD is charged at checkout for the personalised option, capped at 10 characters per garment. 

Q10: Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do offer international shipping. Shipping costs and delivery times may vary depending on the destination however it's best to contact our support team directly at littlerashiesociety@outlook.com prior to making any purchases.
